How do you sign “Rain” in ASL?
RAIN: RAIN in American Sign Language (ASL) names the wet weather. The video and animated demonstration below show the sign.

When do you use the sign RAIN?
RAIN waters small talk everywhere: ruined picnics, needed gardens, forgotten umbrellas. Weather vocabulary is the most reliable conversation starter in any language, and rain leads it. Storm stories give it drama when the small talk runs out.
The challenge covers it in Lesson 86 of Book 3.
