How do you sign “Milk” in ASL?
MILK: MILK in American Sign Language (ASL) names the drink found in nearly every fridge. The video and animated demonstration below show the sign.

When do you use the sign MILK?
MILK earns its keep at grocery stores, coffee shops, and breakfast tables. It is also a staple of baby-sign vocabularies, often one of the first signs infants produce at home. Alongside WATER and COFFEE it rounds out the drink requests a beginner actually makes.
The challenge covers it in Lesson 51, with the food staples of Book 2.
📖 MILK is taught in Lesson 51 of ASLI 2: Building Conversations — Book 2 of the 216-Day Challenge →
