How do you sign “Me” in ASL?
ME: ME in American Sign Language (ASL) points to yourself, and the same sign covers English I, I am, and me. The video below shows it in use.
How is ME used in ASL?
ME is pronoun pointing at its simplest: indicate yourself and the sentence knows its subject. English splits I from me, but ASL does not need to; one point covers both jobs. Introductions run on it, from your name to your feelings, which makes it day-one vocabulary in every classroom.
