How do you sign “Month” in ASL?
MONTH: MONTH in American Sign Language (ASL) names the calendar unit between weeks and years. The video and animated demonstration below show the sign.

When do you use the sign MONTH?
MONTH handles rent, birthdays, seasons, and how-long questions: how many months you have studied ASL, how many months until the trip. Calendar vocabulary builds the skeleton of planning talk, and this sign holds the middle of it.
It appears in Lesson 31 of Book 1, the time lesson.
📖 MONTH is taught in Lesson 31 of ASLI 1: Starting Out — Book 1 of the 216-Day Challenge →
