How do you sign “Right” in ASL?
RIGHT: RIGHT in American Sign Language (ASL) points the direction opposite left. Note that right meaning correct is a completely different sign; this page covers the direction. The video and GIF below demonstrate the sign.
When do you use the sign RIGHT?
RIGHT turns through driving directions, seat assignments, and which-way pointing of every kind. It mirrors LEFT in the directions vocabulary, and the two get drilled together.
