When do you use WHERE in ASL?
WHERE finds things: where you live, where the bathroom is, where the meeting happens. Location questions may be the most practical sentences a traveler signs, and in a spatial language they get satisfyingly spatial answers. Lost keys and meeting points give it daily employment well beyond the classroom.
